They debuted the Vivo V40 series worldwide some time ago, and it was evident from the get-go that ultimately it would land in Pakistan as well. Nothing can be said about the V40 Pro for now, but our inside sources suggest that the base Vivo V40 is extremely near to launch in our market, hopefully in a few days.

Due to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and 2k AMOLED, the V40 has surpassed the boundaries of a mid-tier platform, which their V series models have never been able to do. As a result, it is currently at a semi-flagship level. It is even more luxurious due to its IP68 designation, which allows it to be submerged in 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes without risk to its survival.

The V40 is a curved AMOLED 6.78-inch phone with a pixel count of 1260 x 2800 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Its peak brightness is 4500 nits. This is the pinnacle of technological advancement. Along with that display, you will also receive a 50 MP selfie camera and a fingerprint ID.

The rear of the camera has 50 MP ultrawide and 50 MP primary units, however as it is not a Pro model, it is missing a telephoto lens. Regarding battery life, the V40 is far superior to the V30 thanks to an updated 5500mAh cell and up to 80W charging. Additionally, Funtouch OS 14 x Android 14—which unifies everything—is housed inside the Vivo new 5G model.

Because the Vivo V40 is 7.6 mm too thin to have a side fingerprint reader, an optical one is placed on the AMOLED panel instead. There are skins like Moonlight White, Nebula Purple, Ganges Blue, and Stellar Silver that blend in well with its design components and give the impression that it is a high-end phone right away.
