We know that the Vivo Y300+ 5G is a lower-mid-tier phone—possibly a basic model that they intend to unveil soon—because of the nearly one-month-old IMEI database leak. That provided unambiguous evidence that it was in R&D and that the model code “V2422” connected it to this particular phone.

Abhishek Yadav leaked further information about its possible features and price yesterday. As he has a strong track record of accuracy in this area, his post on X is making many headlines. He says that the Y300+ 5G is an OLED 6.78” phone.

Its 1080p OLED is most likely the same as the one seen in the Y200 Pro, which was released in May. He also thinks the Snapdragon 695 from the previous model is making a reappearance here. It will include at least 8 GB of RAM, which is standard in this market, but 128 GB is rather unflattering, especially considering the price that was revealed.

It won’t be as shocking to see the Y300+ do the same thing—50 MP + 2 MP lens arrangement on the back is a recurrent theme in this range—but at least its 32 MP selfie unit won’t be as conventional. Yadav estimated that the next Vivo 5G phone would only be 7.49mm thick, thus the 5000mAh battery inside is very amazing.

Everything about this device is reasonable, at least considering the price, and it is sufficiently durable to have an IP54-rated chassis. It also charges quickly thanks to the 44W input. According to Yadav’s information, this phone will cost around $285, or PKR 79,000 in Pakistani rupees.
