The Apple iPhone SE 4 is almost ready for mass production; a 2025 release date is possible. Yesterday, we discovered a report that revealed Apple’s plans in full. Although it was suspected, their report confirms it. The launching of SE alongside the iPhone 16 range is not planned.
It appears that production won’t even start until October 2024. Their attention will turn to a low-cost vendor once they unveil the iPhone 16 series in September. And ideally, in the coming months, the iPhone SE 4 will start going into mass production.
Naturally, their SE 4 will take another two or three months to complete. And if everything turns out as the report suggests. January 2025, just in time for the Chinese Lunar New Year, will mark its debut. Previous iPhone SEs maintained their timelines locked within March, notwithstanding the claims made in this study. So that could be the case.
Type-C charging is now available for all iPhone models, and future iPhone SE models will also use this technology. Apple is moving from the SE 3’s outdated Touch ID to Face ID. We’re still optimistic about a few other neat features, such as the Action Button. Additionally, there’s a potential that it will restore the notch.
According to the leaks, the iPhone SE 4 would maintain a single rear camera, much like all of its predecessors. That will assist Apple in keeping costs in check without making significant performance sacrifices. Indeed, SE 4 will run on the SoC at this time. It will be comparable to the iPhone 16 in speed and style.
