Every year, LG and Apple collaborate due to a high demand for OLED screens. Without a doubt, Apple’s main OLED suppliers are still China’s BOE and Samsung. However, they may assign part of the production of the iPhone SE 4 screens to LG.

This report is from TheElec today. They assert that other companies also contributed to the iPhone SE 4 screens. Although LG also has a contract, it is still available as a backup provider. Most leaks and rumors about this screen design point to a modified iPhone 14 model.

We therefore anticipate a Notched display notch if the iPhone SE 4 is, in fact, a redesigned iPhone 14. The same rumors point to a battery capacity comparable to the iPhone 14. A single rear camera and a revamped backplate are two possible changes.

Nothing specific could be gleaned from TheElec’s report. However, we did discover something fascinating earlier: the release schedule for the iPhone SE 4. Their attention will turn to the upcoming iPhone SE devices as soon as the iPhone 16 series launches. The first day of manufacturing will be October 2024.

After two or three months in manufacturing, the redesigned iPhone SE 4 should be available by January 2025. TheElec estimates that SE 4 will cost about $499, which is over $70 more than SE 3 did. However, the most recent one is dropping with a 128 GB beginning option, so things are looking up. As always, you should not rely solely on these leaks and an official statement.
