We are still awaiting the release of the Samsung Galaxy A16 5 G, which will follow the Galaxy A15. The debut is, of course, several months away. However, several times, we have seen indications of the phone’s international version. The same phone is now shown on Geekebench’s scoreboard.

For the Galaxy A16 5G, Samsung has designated the model code as “SM-A166E.” The device we previously observed on Geekbench, identified as the “SM-A166P” USA, appears to be the global variant. They get an 8-core Dimensity 6300 running at 2.4 GHz, which is, in our opinion, the least expensive 5G-capable SoC available on the market.

Here, they tested the most basic configuration of Samsung’s new low-cost 5G mobile phone, which has 4G RAM. Better RAM options (presumably 6GB and 8GB) will probably be available with it, but the benchmark scores for this particular option are 967 and 1971 for single and multiple cores.

It is important to constantly note the Geekbench version while testing, as some versions (such as this one, Geekbench 6) have more lax scoring guidelines. Once you obtain an A16 following its launch, scores may vary on your end.

What’s in store for the Galaxy A16 5G is Android 14. That’s what the Geekbench scorecard indicates, however. When the mint Android 14 was released, it was installed on the old Galaxy A15. Thus, it’s highly likely that the Android 15 is contained in the more recent A16 5G. That pretty much covers all of the Geekbench information on the Galaxy A16 5G.
