We’re interested to see what else may change with the iPhone 16 Pro series, beyond silicons, screens, and cameras. Rumors are circulating that the 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max iPhones will have faster charging speeds this time around. If it turns out to be a leak, it will be a pleasant change of pace.
It is well known that the plugged-in iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max may achieve a maximum input of 27W. Additionally, MagSafe wireless charging only uses 15W. Apple has been lagging when it comes to charging solutions, while other businesses are setting records with 100 watts or more.
But rumors have said that things will soon change. The Apple iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max are rumored to have 20W wireless and 40W wired charging as goals. Naturally, those aren’t the figures you’ll see regularly. However, if you plug in the upcoming Apple iPhone models at 0% at peak hours, it can reach 40W or 20W (wireless).
Of all the firms, Apple is aware that you may not always benefit from greater charging figures. It appears to be a cautious move as well. However, one thing about Apple that is known to us is that it considers everything. The limited quicker charging rates can be considered the wisest course of action going forward.
