Realme hopes to break the record for the quickest phone to charge ever. In China, rumors are circulating. It mentions a Realme-designed 300W charging mechanism. Naturally, a Chinese company has attempted this before. However, the closest thing to a 300W wired charging phone is the Realme.
Realme will not be the first to test 300W charging, as was previously stated. With its cable charging technology, Redmi has already given it a try, allowing it to charge a 4,100mAh phone battery in less than five minutes. This occurred in February of 2023.
No Redmi phone that can handle 300W has been spotted in retail stores. Thus, it’s probable that the project was put on hold. Realme appears to be taking this charging mechanism for a test drive. Ultimately, this is the same business that brought 240W fast charging to the masses.
Realme is the brand that, in a retail model, is most likely to reach these target speeds. Additionally, the 240W fast charging kit from the Realme GT 5 and GT Neo 5 could be a good step forward for future GT phones. We’ll soon get to witness how Realme implements 300W.
