The Vivo V40e has been the subject of many rumors, but now that the phone was formally teased yesterday, it’s time for us to give you the official rundown. These are the specifications that we discovered on their summary website. Its launch is almost upon us; it will make its debut on September 25.

Its design indicates that it will be a thin phone; on paper, it weighs 180g and measures just 7.5mm, even with the 5500mAh battery installed. The V40e’s minor curvature at the front and back contributes to its thin design.

The 6.7-inch AMOLED curved panel that you see in the front will have a 50 MP selfie camera inside a punch-hole cut, and it should have an HDR10+ 120Hz 1080p quality screen. Vivo has recently placed a greater emphasis on its cameras and artificial intelligence (AI), and this phone will excel in both areas.

The back side of the camera has a blacked-out section that houses two lenses. The primary Sony IMX 882 OIS sensor with a resolution of 50 MP will be one of the lenses, while the other is an 8 MP ultrawide. The new semi-flagship from Vivo reportedly has a 4K video recording capability in addition to an AI portrait suite that allows you to edit and improve your photos.

They didn’t even mention its chip or memory options, and it about sums up their description. We also saw the 80W FlashCharge in one of those portions. If the speculations about the Vivo V40e were accurate, however, you will receive a Dimensity 7300 chip with a maximum RAM variant of 12 GB.
