The Y catalog is the next best item to look for after their luxury V series. The Vivo Y29 series, which has been observed in the IMEI database, is next. There are two positive aspects to this. We now know that the “Vivo Y29 5G” and “Vivo Y29e 5G” are the first two gadgets to join the expedition.
Confirmation that an impending launch is looming is the second justification. The model codes were also disclosed by IMEI Database. The code for the Vivo Y29 5G is ‘V2420’. The Vivo Y29e 5G was assigned the identification code “V2421.”
These phones are most likely being seen for the first time in official capacity. Although the IMEI database didn’t reveal much, it’s a start. And those model codes will let us follow their progress till their final release. The Y28 and Y28e will soon be replaced by these phones.
We recall how fantastic the Y28 series was in the past. The Vivo Y28 5G boasted a 6.56″ IPS screen with HD+ quality and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. Its main processor, the Dimensity 6300, could handle up to 8 GB of RAM. It was powered by a 5000mAh cell, as opposed to Vivo’s new low-cost 5G phone.
The Vivo Y28e 5G, which had the same screen, was equally good. However, it reduced the camera’s specs. The back 13 MP + 0.08 MP + 5 MP (selfie) layout of the Y28e was different from the 50 MP + 2 MP + 8 MP setup on the Y28. The 4 GB RAM capacity was another feature that made it heavy. Their Vivo Y29 series will probably advance where its predecessors failed.
